Teaching
As a teacher Ruth Berresford BMus (Hons) GMSD LGSMD PGDip Mus GSMD teaches both oboe and piano and takes private students at home.
She is the oboe tutor on the Elizabeth College Summer Orchestral Course (ECSOC) on Guernsey which involves chamber music coaching, wind sectional conducting and individual oboe lessons. She has also coached the wind section for the London Festival Youth Orchestra.
Ruth has given master-classes at the London College of Music and has taught at both Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Northern College of Music junior departments.
